Wedding Flower Consultation Checklist

There are so many details that go into planning your wedding.  When it comes to wedding flowers, how do you know to whom you should provide body flowers?  Or where you should put flowers for your ceremony and reception?  Beyond the obvious bouquets and boutonnieres for your bride and groom, and bridesmaids and groomsmen, many  people also choose to give body flowers to a number of other special guests.  To help you easily prepare for your wedding flower consultation appointment, we have created the following checklist that many of our clients have found to be quite helpful.  It is a comprehensive list to help you compile your list of necessary florals needed for your special day.  Julia’s Blooms Pre-Consultation Checklist

We have found that most of our clients almost always provide body flowers for the following:

  • Parents
  • Grandparents
  • Ushers

But what about everyone else?  Sometimes it can feel like your list of “special guests” never ends!  Following is a list of guests that many of our clients also choose to gift with body flowers, along with a few helpful hints we have learned to help you decide whether or not it is necessary:

  • Officiant (only if he or she will not be wearing robes during the ceremony)
  • Personal Attendants
  • Readers
  • Musicians (typically if they are a special friend or family member and not someone whose services you have hired)
  • Host/Hostess
  • Godparents
  • Gift or Program Attendants
